How to Pay without Credit Card?

There are 3 ways to pay without using a credit card:

  • Money Order
  • Personal Check
  • PayPal system

If you don’t like providing your Credit Card information, you can prepay your 5-month Gold Membership with a Money Order or a Personal Check or using Pay Pal system, and we’ll give you one month free. That’s $50 for 6 months!

For $30 more, you will get a whole year of Gold Membership watching commercial-free movies from any category. That’s $80 for 12 months!

No Credit Card required. Write your login name at the “Memo” part of the check, mail it to:

How often do new movies get added to Memocast?

We add over 1000 movies to our library every month. 

Does Memocast have any content other than movies?

Yes, we have music videos, cartoons, home videos, serials, and documentaries. 

How do I watch movies?

To enjoy our movie library update or install new Adobe Flash Player please update/install latest Adobe Flash Player

Can I watch movies for free?

Yes, non-members and simple users can watch movies for free first 5 min preview. Also, able to watch Limited Collection for Holidays. 

How many movies can I watch as a Gold Member?

As many as you please, our members are not restricted in watching movies in any way. http://memocast.com/holidaycollection/valentine/collection.aspx  

How do I upgrade from a Simple Member to a Gold Member? 

After having logged-in to your simple user account, click the "My Profile" tab from the tab menu. From here, click "My Profile" -> "Upgrade Account" and select the "Gold Member ($9.95 per month, 10GB disk space)" Follow the instructions to finalize your upgrade. Or simply click on this button  and follow instructions. 

How do I write Russian using English alphabet?

If you are having trouble finding Russian movies, follow this key to translate Russian letters to English.

 How do I find the movie I’m looking for?

 To find a specific movie, type the title in the search box and click “Find It”. To search more specifically, click on “Advanced Search” below the search box to search content with the following fields: Country of Origin, Author, Director, Year, Starring, Language, Category, and movie Rating.

 To find a specific movie, type the title in the search box and click button “Find It” on the right. You can type producer’s names, actor’s name or phrase from synopsis   

How do I search people on Memocast?

 Click on People menu, click on the “Search People” button.  You should use User name of person that you are looking for.

Click on the People menu, click on the “Search By Detail”.  You should use Last or First Name of person that you are looking for. 

How do I add a friend on Memocast to share movies with?

Click on any users name to go to his/her page. Under “User Information,” click “Add to friends.” You will now be able to tag movies and send messages to the user.  

How do I cancel my subscription?

Simply send an email saying “Cancel” with your login name to info@memocast.com

Or Find user “Administrator” and send him a message- cancelation request. 

Playlist 

How do I create a playlist?

 Click on any movie to go to its details page. On the left side of the Player, you will see a “add to playlist button.” - Or + symbol. Click this. Your movie will be added to the playlist. 

How do I view my playlist?

On the main menu select “My Profile” and Movies, click the “My Playlist” button to see your playlist. 

Account/Billing

On what date will I be billed every month?

Your monthly charges depend on the day you signed up. You will be billed each month, 30 days after your signup date.
 

How do I update my account information?

Login to Memocast.com with your User Id and Password.After logging in, Click on ‘My Profile’ Tab.After 'My Profile' page opens, click on ‘My Profile’ link. Click on ‘Edit My Details’ link to make changes to your account

How do I change my password?

First log in if not yet. Go right to this link http://www.memocast.com/my/passwordchange.aspx or click on the "My profile" button, click on the "My profile" menu, and click on the "Change My Password" menu. On the "Password change" page there are three fields and button:

Type old password in the "Old password" field, type new password in the "New password" field, retype the new password in the "Password confirm" field, and click on the button "Submit". You're all set.

Are there taxes or other fees in addition to $9.95 per month?

No, all taxes are included in the $9.95 a month price.

Technical

What are the technical system requirements to watch (stream) movies?

To enjoy our movie library update or install new Adobe Flash Player update/install latest Adobe Flash Player

You can check your connection speed at http://speakeasy.net/speedtest/. You should also have DSL or Cable no less than 1000 kilobits per second for maximum video quality watching experience.

Can I watch streaming movies on my TV?

Yes, however you will need a “S video” out port from your computer, a “S video” in port to your TV, and a cable to connect the two.

Can I watch movies using Firefox?

Yes, you can. In fact, it's recommended. You can also use Safary, Opera and Chrome.

Can I stream and view your movies on my Mac?

Yes, you can stream and view our movies on your Mac. But, you are not able to watch them on iPhone and iPad as of now. We will support iphone and ipad in near future.

If you are using same login from one house you can have as many computers as you want.

How to enable Hardware acceleration…select a movie on home page; right click screen; select settings; pop up will display check box; uncheck Hardware Acceleration check box.

How to change the language on Memocast?

To change the language on Memocast you have to push "change" button besides the "All languages" in the top of the page (see tutorial "How to change the language").

You will see a drop-down menu with the language list. Choose your language and press the link with its name. Then press button "change".

Please, note that if you choose some language on the site, movies in chosen language only will be listed. Titles will be displayed in this language as well.
